Customers arrive at Barton Springs Bike Rental & Tours. They will then be fitted to a pedal assist electric bike, and go over the operations and safety. The tour begins by heading towards the Stevie Ray Vaughan memorial and Doug Salm Hill. Then head into south Austin to check out the "Greetings from Austin" and the very popular "I love you so much" murals. The breathtaking views of the Austin Skyline from the cities boardwalk will lead the tour into downtown. Here the customers will ride through the infamous Sixth street to the state capitol. Halfway through the tour we do stop for coffee/ beer/ snacks (not included) at a local Austin spot. Then the tour will head north into the University of Texas campus and customers will be able to find out the chilling significance of the University of Texas' Tower. Here customers will get a feel for campus life as they head toward the iconic "Hi, How are you?" mural. The next stop will be a visit to the unique "Graffiti Wall" of Austin's art culture. The tour finishes with a visit to one of Austin's own Moontowers and Barton Springs Pool. All bikes are included in the price as well as a water during and after the tour. Helmets are required for anyone under the age of 18. Make sure to bring comfortable shoes for bike riding and your camera for all the great photo opportunities.
This is a great tour for someone who wants to see a lot of the city and get some exercise. It is not hard, but you should be in reasonable shape.

My daughter and I went on the three-hour "Let it Ride" E-bike tour with Daniel, who couldn't have provided us with a better tour. We saw every part of the city and heard great stories about each one. Daniel also provided us with tips for the rest of our stay. I highly recommend booking this tour for your first day. It includes the most iconic murals, shops along South Congress, Lady Bird Lake, the State Capitol, UT-Austin, downtown, and more. Bikes worked extremely well and made the ride that much more enjoyable. We loved this tour!
A good way to see the city

Santiago gave us a fantastic tour of Austin using electric assist bikes. A must have to cover the entire city. Thanks guys!
Today we took the electric bike tour. We're senior citizens and not regular bikers so we thought this sounded a little easier. Once we arrived at the bike shop it seemed a little more scary. My husband has some mobility issues but our tour guide Gabriel was absolutely wonderful !! He was so patient and helpful. He assured us we could do this and helped make us comfortable and confident. He customized the tour for us and we had the best time. We saw so much of the beautiful Ladybird Lake path and beautiful sites of Austin. Barton Springs Bike Rentals is lucky to have such a great tour guide and employee !
Gabe was our tour guide and he was great! He had a fun sense of humor and adjusted the schedule to meet some of our requests. Definitely recommend it!
Gabe was a great tour guide. Always pointing out things. The EBike was really cool too. While I do a fair amount of biking, the EBike was fun and allowed us to cover a LOT of ground without making the tour a physical challenge!
Did four tours using the ATX pass, including the segway and driving. The electric bike was the best way to see the city. Compared to the segway, you can travel faster, you are seated, it is narrower when dealing with barriers, and much for fun. Enjoyed learning of passage ways to get around. The crew was also very accommodating with customizing the tour, friendly, and knowledgable. Location south of downtown, with available parking, was also nice.
We had a great time on our tour. Gabriel showed us cool things we wouldn't know about Austin and coached us on ebikes. Ebikes were really fun!
